Nine things I did this week that I’ll miss while we’re travelling

In no particular order:

  1. Popping round to see family for a cup of tea and a chat.
  2. Hanging out and laughing with close friends who know us really well.
  3. Going for a walk in the woods with my dad and his pup.
  4. Eating roast lamb.
  5. Randomly bumping into old school friends in town.
  6. Eating a proper Devonshire cream tea.
  7. Exploring the Devon countryside and coastline.
  8. Eating mini rolls with my grannie.
  9. Going to the cinema with my little sis (featuring popcorn and Tango ice blasts).

I didn’t plan for five out of nine of those to relate to eating/drinking. This blogging malarkey is turning out to be a real journey in self-realisation.

  1. Sorry Abi I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to you both. Hope all goes well, looking forward to reading all about your adventures and if I can pray for anything. Do you know where you’re going or starting yet? Have a fantastic time, enjoy absolutely every part of it. I am currently reading Rosie Swale-Pope’s Run around the world and how she describes the people she meets and her surroundings every step of the way so I’m looking forward to everything you describe. Love to you both and God bless your every step, xx

    • Thanks for your message Pam! Sounds like a great book. We’re currently on Maafushi Island in the Maldives as our first destination, then we’re stopping off briefly in Sri Lanka before moving on to Indonesia for a few weeks. Love, Abi x
